Whatever the unpleasant, icky, unprintable opposite of "heart"-ing a track is, this is it. The equivalent of giving a song herpes.

Like Heroin To Me

Any band fronted by a man possessing such reckless abandon of character and temperment as Jeffrey Lee Pierce of The Gun Club was bound to emerge from the wreckage of the creative process gloriously disheveled and riotous. Just listen to their debut album, Fire Of Love, released by (Slash/)Ruby Records in 1981. It's punk rock sharing the needle with blues and country, but I think I only make that comparison because I'm having a rotten day. Either way, The Gun Club is appropriate crash-and-burn music, and—for today—I am tipping my hat to that.

From Jack On Fire: "And when you fall in love with me/We can dig a hole by the willow tree/Then I will fuck you until you die/ Bury you and kiss this town goodbye."
